About

Welcome to a space of self-discovery. A place where we will work together to lift the veils of life and life experiences that have brought you here today so you can tap into your true nature.

I have spent years learning the about the human body and ways to work with the body and mind to create a life with a little more ease, joy and adventure. The skills you will learn with me center around mapping out the basic understandings of how the human body and nervous system work from a modern perspective. This is all done in a fun and engaging way, all with the intention of reducing suffering and increasing a sense of ease and contentment.

From this point we venture together to explore beyond the basics and into how each body is truly unique and the tools and practices and even foods that may suit your body best. Through the wisdom and principles of the 5,000 year old science of Ayurveda I will share with you the essentials for creating more balance in your body and mind.

What has taken me years to discover will be mapped out in a way that you can navigate your internal and external landscape and live the life you are called to live, your purpose, your dreams. I want this to be easy for you!

I want to make this information accessible and there are many entry points to working with me and getting started with your personal journey, evolution, transformation.

Meet  Heidi- My Story

I have spent 15 years in the wellness field. My journey started out inspired by the life I watched my dad lead. Two things stood out to me, he always seemed to be chasing his tail in a way, seeking some sort of balance, a place of ease, or contentment that never seemed to last long even if he found it for a moment. He also seemed to have so much potential that would shine through at many moments, but the cycles and loops he found himself in seemed to always get in the way.

When I discovered the concept of Wellness I thought I found the domains of balance he was seeking, but the only catch was the modern wellness world always seemed to be in debate and this debate always came back to new fads. This is when I found myself in a Yoga class. I too had hopped on every fad diet or lifestyle regimen I could find and something just didn't feel right. As a curious person I thought perhaps Yoga might be an inroad to seeking my own full potential and at the same time I was in Yoga teacher training I found out about its sister science Ayurveda.

Years went by with me teaching Yoga, practicing the basics skills I knew of Ayurveda and learning more about our connection with nature, organic farming practices, holistic land management and more. Although, I was curious I hadn't found what I was seeking. I stuck with the practices of Yoga and went on for deeper studies, always fascinated by how these skills could impact the mind. I was later introduced to the nervous system by attending a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training and a training on Adolescent Yoga where we looked at brain development. That spun me into many years of fascination and study of neuroscience.

Fast forward years later I found myself studying somatic therapy practices and attending Ayurveda School. This is where I could see in my own life the benefits of knowing my nervous system and the science behind how it works as well as the diet and lifestyle practices that influenced it. In my own life I still felt my own challenges around certain portions of my life coming up in what seemed to be a pattern. It was a pattern all based around my menstrual cycle, diet and lifestyle. Discovering this has been my gateway to healing and greater understanding of myself. This has driven my passion even deeper to knowing just how vital it is for us to align with nature. Why? Because, like my dad spinning your wheels, creating a life on repeat, getting stuck in thought loops just keeps us stuck and further away from living the lives we have dreamed of. I watched my life go from consistent struggle to greater stability when moving through some of the most challenging experiences of my life.

In the midst of this self-discovery my mom had a massive stroke. Her life and that of those closest to her changed in an instant. What was reinforced for me as I took on the responsibility of managing her life was just how crucial our networks of support are and just how challenging it is to navigate the modern medical system. On this portion of my journey I have witnessed the cellular intelligence of the body and mind and its ability to heal above all odds. This has also lit my fire even more to seek a life of joy knowing we only get one shot at this. Living my best life includes the practices I have put into a tool-kit for us, for you.

Whether you are someone seeking your full potential or to be your true self I can support you. If you are someone living in a state of dis-harmony lets work together to reduce dis-ease. I am excited to see what you uncover, what healing is there for you, what joy, what adventure, what life!
